Bryan Demchinsky

Writer and Editor

Bryan Demchinsky is an editor and writer who worked for three decades at the Montreal Gazette. Among other portfolios, he was Business editor and editor of the newspaper’s Books, Visual Arts and Architecture section. He is the author or co-author of five books including, After Auschwitz: One Man's Story, (McGill-Queen’s University Press); and Storied Streets: Montreal in the Literary Imagination, with Elaine Kalman Naves (Macfarlane, Walter & Ross). Bryan has edited numerous books and conducted workshops in memoir writing.

Richard Carreau is a designer, typographer, illustrator, photographer and production manager who takes hands on control of the creative look and feel of all our books. The quality of his work is evident in the examples of his work. He brings a deft hand to cover design and overall concept of the book, photo selection and retouching, layout, typography and preparation of the final electronic document for the printer.
